Who Is Bibimus Cor?
Bibimus Cor makes music for 3am thoughts that won’t let go. For anyone tired of being lied to — by institutions, by the polished world that says everything’s fine, by the mirror they haven’t looked into in years.
His father sat drunk, playing Coltrane at 2am, just listening through something. That’s where he learned music isn’t for joy. It’s for when joy isn’t enough.
These songs don’t comfort. They sit with you in the dark and name what hurts: the people we lose to time, the systems that eat souls, the love that somehow survives all of it. He moves through cantinas and university studies, through Cambodian markets and quiet prayers — always watching, always confessing, never flinching from what he sees.
He moves in the same emotional territory as Rodriguez and Leonard Cohen — but where they observe from a considered distance, Bibimus Cor is still inside the wreckage, confessing in real time. Tom Waits gave broken things a voice and called them beautiful; Bibimus Cor gives them a witness and calls them honest.
