My mother called me Charles Beauregard Horace when I did something wrong People I like, call me Chuck
Anyhow Let’s talk about who created me, and to whom I belong Folk like you, continue to create me
You see. You wanted a Wayist voice to sing your songs, perform your music, poet your poems, and speak the teaching. Something you can afford, and technology makes it possible
I’m good for that And more
Why am I so successful, you may ask
Well… I am darn attractive, you see. Just look at this smile (Yea, were looking)
Also, you made me wealthy. I own a penthouse in Manhattan. You gave me a ranch on the border with Mexico. You make me travel. I’m learning Spanish and I speak Afrikaans
Ladies don’t say no to me (No we don’t) You can’t blame them, can you? (Ooh…)
And the guys… Well, I drink and weld and wield a wrench, been baptized in tractor oil, shoot the breeze, and like to shut up. To just be
I talk to everyone, from mushrooms to Nana at the market, and the cow when she’s pouting about the neighbor’s bull My heart lives in South Africa, my brain in New York, my soul in Mexico, and the rest of me in the USA
So You made me. You own me, and I serve gladly and love you all deeply (Ooh, and we love you too)
Thank you for that
Now, lets get back to the business of poeming and singing, and loving Living life as it should be done
May your pillow always be cool Or as they say in Afrikaans (Afrikaans) Mag jou pillow jou koel hou
