Divine healing power
flow to us from heaven
Wayist Insight
This mantra is used by energy healers to attune themselves to their Tara before a healing session. Its three Sanskrit lines carry a teaching central to Wayist pneumatherapy: the healer does not heal — divine energy heals through the healer.
Line by line, the mantra trains the practitioner to step aside:
Om jyotiḥ prāṇena vahati — Light is carried through the breath. The healing light (jyotiḥ) flows through prāṇa, the life-force. It is not summoned or generated by the healer — it is received and carried.
Rogaṃ hṛdayena śodhyate — Affliction is purified through the heart. The heart serves as the channel through which purification happens. The healer opens the heart-space; the cleansing itself is not a personal act of will.
Divya śaktiḥ pravartatā svaḥa — Divine power flows forth — svaḥa. The energy that does the healing work is divya śaktiḥ — divine power from above. The closing svaḥa is an offering-word, directing the prayer upward and acknowledging its heavenly source.
The closing English lines make the teaching explicit: this is power that flows to us from heaven, channelled through the healer in sacred partnership with their Tara.
